About this deal

For people who are here for the yaoi, I'll give you more of the specifics on that. I know that a lot of yaoi recently have been more on the abusive side of things, and I also know that people have been recognizing the problems about glamorizing/idealizing this kind of relationship. Unfortunately, this seems to be another one of that kind of yaoi. From this first chapter that's definitely how things seem to be going (and have already gone). The plot, while in it's core not the most unique one, is beautifully played and is very intelligent. Azusa knew today was going to be bad. If he had known just how horrible it was going to be though he would have just stayed home. Now, the entire school knows he's an omega, but that's not the worst part.

The story revolves around the former King, Azusa, and his former friend and follower, Karino. Azusa is the golden boy, the horrible King who is never nice to anybody but has an awful family life. Karino, the son of a politician, plans to take Azusa's place in their school's hierarchy and become King. Karino eventually succeeds and forces Azusa to make a choice- either become his 'woman' or be gang-raped by the other students. other than to “entertain” the reader, as long as men are the ones getting raped? (Although how someone could find these scenes entertaining is beyond me.) When I define feminism, I think of women being valued as highly as men and being treated with as much respect — not more. Shortly after, Kuze reaches him. Atsumu hugs him and says “I am weak. Despite everything, I’m still tied to this caste. I’m not able to do anything even if a person I care about is hurt”. “I wish I was stronger”. "Atsumu…” There really is no escape from him. And yet we have to, even not choosing is a choice made for us…by us. A short story featuring Osuga and Yatori was published in the anthology Kuzu, which was released on February 29, 2016. [7] A short story featuring Omi and Akio was published in the anthology Mesuochi BL, a part of Libre's X-BL anthology series, which was released on February 10, 2017. [8] In addition, Ogawa sold an unofficial dōjinshi featuring Tamotsu Yoshinaga and Kento Megumi for Comiket 89 on December 29, 2015 and also posted it on her Pixiv account. [9] Caste Heaven is a yaoi manga revolving around the hierarchy between the students of a certain high school that is decided by a some sort of "card hunt" that changes every certain amount of time. The art is the same as this author's other manga. It's not perfect but it's nice. It has this sexy aura (?). I don't know if it's just me but Azusa (the main character) is very sexy. This manga is about a school that runs under a caste system. Each year they have this kind of "contest" where poker cards are scattered around the school, and whichever one you end up with determines your rank. Example: If you find the King card you become the absolute ruler of the whole school and can shit on anyone and everyone you please, or if you end up with the Joker card then you become a living ass-wipe. The premise of the book is how the tables turn when the previous year's ruler ends up with the Joker card this time around. This seems really interesting, no? And it would have been--If it was done right. THE TONE- the tone is messy as hell. i dont get why this serious manga which wants to be a character exploration is also an attractive porn. This is a problem with all yaoi, but here it is overly noticeable. if u wanna be porn, be porn. The art isnt that bad. if u wanna be an edgy story then be that. but dont mix togther because it dosent work. The only truly good part of this manga. Sure, I’ve seen manga with much better art, but the art in this is still pretty good, and some of the color sequences are absolutely stellar to look at. On the other hand, Azusa is always real. He never bothers to put on masks so that people will like him- he doesn't care what they think of him, because as long as he is in power, he can do whatever he likes. He treats people terribly, like they're lesser than him, and even when he becomes the target of the school, this attitude never goes away. He refuses to grovel even though the alternative is worse, and never asks for help. He never thanks anyone for anything, and it's because he knows he's alone in his convictions. He's honest and has a very strong sense of self, and it's wonderful. to their advantage. In the future chapters, hopefully more details about the game will be explored.

It is this unrestrained and indiscriminate desire to rape Azusa that allows Karino to turn him into a private sex slave: the choice is presented in those exact terms, Karino asks Azuka to 'choose' whether to be raped by him alone or to become the plaything of the mob. It is Kuze, who plays a very important part in Atsumu's storyline, where one senses that Ogawa- sensei was still fumbling. Again we are in this highschool which has a strange secret hierarchy game going on among students, but this time the story focus on a side pairing instead of the protagonists (who are in a master/plaything relationship in this hierarchy game). during the story 1 gets demoted to something called a target, where he is constantly bullied and not to mention his life at home isn't the best either. 2 is promoted This is a similar problem in another Yaoi Manga I’ve read, Ten Count, which I’ll be reviewing in the future. This manga had potential, with its decent concept, but it never tried to get the story to move and it feels like it was just made as an excuse to have rape scenes. Edit: 1.5-THE CONCEPT- after rereading the manga I realized that the concept itself is stupid and full of plotholes. Why does the game exsist? I am not sure. I dont think the manga will explain how the game started because it is dumb for someone to want to be in a game where you might go and become a victim. Also why would the popular kids agree to the game, it obviously a danger to their status, so why would they agree for the game. Unless they wanted to have SEX! Which in that case why did anyone agree to this????? WHY WOULD THEY WANT TO LIVE IN A LITERAL RAPE CULTURE! Jesus, I never knew the day would come where a story is literal about a rape culture...

Because the story is so dark and twisted and no one says otherwise inside of it, it forces you to be that much emotionally involved.
